Good evening from Sayers Croft! We were all quite tired this morning after a rather late night! But there was no time to lie-in, as we had a day of activities ahead of us. We started our day with a room inspection (the boys won!) and a breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs, porridge and hash browns to fuel us for the day. One of our activities this morning was Axe Throwing. One of the girls hit the target 4 times in a row - not someone you want to upset! We also did Caving - this was so much fun! We got to explore some man-made caves, squeezing into some very small spaces. Some of us even found a secret ball-pit in the middle!

After a lunch of hot dogs and mac 'n' cheese, we learned some of the history of Sayers Croft - did you know it was originally a site for evacuees? We also got to visit a real air raid shelter and an Andersen shelter. Following this, we had to work together to complete a variety of challenges - using our brains and lateral thinking.

Tonight we are going on a Nightwalk - we can't wait to use our torches. Then, our teachers have told us that we are having an early night because we all need our sleep...
